Heineken Experience

Frequently asked questions

  • The Heineken Experience

The Heineken Experience is an attraction located at the Heineken’s first built brewery in Amsterdam’s city centre. In 1988, the brewery was closed due to the inability to meet the high demand. Nowadays, you can learn about the company heritage, brewing process, Heineken’s® innovations, sponsorships and what it takes to serve a star in a 1,5hrs self-guided tour. At the end of the tour you can, of course, enjoy two Heinekens or learn how to pour the perfect Heineken.

The language used is English, but it is also possible to download the Heineken Experience audio guide free of charge in 9 different languages (English, Chinese, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Dutch, German and French) or, if you prefer, there are also tablets available that feature the application for rent.

Let us be your guide to a genuine taste of Heineken® and modern ‘dam life. It will begin in the tour with the locals you meet and will extend into the city beyond.
